The Roomba has become part of the family. If you have a house with a lot of wood floors, tile, berber, vinyl....the Roomba will become your best friend. You can literally turn it on, LEAVE YOUR HOUSE and come home to a perfectly swept house. It's the greatest. I see NO hands...well, that will soon change. My next two recommendations are a bit of a splurge, but are well worth it in my opinion. Behold the DYSON. This vacuum is the cadillac of vacuums...and trust me, with a maiden name of 'HOOVER'..I KNOW VACUUMS! (No, I'm not part of the Hoover Vacuum family, but announcing my maiden name was so relevant in that last sentence!!....) The Dyson has literally enhanced my life. I have a strange obsession with 'seeing' the whirling twirling motion of grime and dirt being sucked out of my carpet. I'm amazed with every sweep. It's lightweight and it makes the daily chore of vacuuming that most housewives love to hate...a BREEZE! So if your in the market for a vacuum, I'd strongly suggest a Dyson. If you don't have one - RUN quickly and get one. It will amaze you with it's cleaning ablitiy! Essential to every household .....it is in my top 10 most favorite products for cleaning tools! Also - I have found you can use it practically EVERYWHERE.
